True goodbyes are the ones never said or explained……
So it’s finally come down to this, through all the revivals, departures, new signees, and bitter fought wars, SCW’s time has finally come to an end. A place that has forged lifelong friendships and created several legendary champions is now closing it’s doors after tonight, but much true to form, the superstars on the roster have all came together one final time to give a company like this the true send off that it deserves. Different from the usual tune we are use to seeing for the Penance webcasts, the feed opens up at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. We can see that the arena is easily sold out as SCW has built up quite the following of fans in it’s time. Such signs showing support for US champion Valerie Melamid or everybody’s favorite underdog Blade LaVigne can be seen as a pyro goes off on top of the stage and we can now see two familiar faces in Bob and Julian who are decked out in formal suits for this final show.
Bob: Ladies and gentleman, welcome to SCW Redemption, being broadcast live on pay-per-view.
Julian: Stop sounding so happy, we’re fired after this show ends, you know that right.
Bob: **ignoring Julian** As you can see, this is definitely not the setting that we are use to seeing at the Vice Pit, but rumor has it that current owners Austin Starr and Kenneth Walker personally funded this venue and event themselves out of their own pockets. Me personally, I don’t see it, but alas, we are here either way.
Julian: I just can’t wait to see them finally tear each others heads off tonight, god Ken is so boring sometimes…..cry me a river man.
Bob: You’ll get your wish later tonight Julian, but first we make our way to the first match, for a chance to settle a grudge and avenge an earlier loss.
Julian: Oh great…..this guy.

The ref raises his arm again, it falls again. The ref raises it for a third time, this time it stays up. Leftfoot manages to break the hold and get back to his feet.
Bob: Apparently I’m receiving word now folks, as is the official in the ring that Kenneth Walker has decided to let these two fight it out, no rules, no count outs, no DQ’s, anything goes…
Julian: It’s called a Hardcore rules match…idiot
Ill Irish whips Leftfoot off the ropes and goes for a strong clothesline. Leftfoot ducks the clothesline and Ill ends up clothes lining the referee to the mat. The referee lies prone on the mat, Ill looks down at him and back at Leftfoot just in time to see him deliver a running tackle to Ill and bring him down to the mat. Leftfoot pummels Ill with a flurry of lefts and rights. Ill manages to escape by rolling out of the ring and to the floor. Ill gets back to his feet as Leftfoot leaps from the top rope with a splash. Ill hangs down from the guardrail with his head and neck on the floor. Leftfoot going to the ring apron now and looking under the ring until he finds what he is looking for, and he finds is a female mannequin and takes it out and starts beating it. Left foot now all alone with the mannequin starts to feel a little pimpish and starts to lay his move down on the lifeless piece of plastic.
Bob: What is Leftfoot doing?
Julian: I think he’s just as sick and twisted as Ill but in some Ghetto hood version.
Leftfoot smacks Mentally Ill in the face with the plastic mannequin and starts to beat him with it and he drops the mannequin and rolls him into the ring before the ref decides to finish the countdown... Leftfoot follows ill into the ring and start to mud hole stomp him. Ill eventually get's to his feet and looks at Leftfoot he storm his way over to Leftfoot pummeling him with punches, knocking Leftfoot off balance, he whips him into the corner and climbs to the second turnbuckle looking at the fans, he begins delivering punches to the face of Leftfoot . One, two, three…. The punches continue… seven, eight, nine… but before Ill delivers the tenth punch to the face of Leftfoot he looks at Leftfoot and does copy cats a Stella Mac move and he lands the tenth punch and from the way it looks Leftfoot's forehead is busted open.
Julian: I guess Mentally Ill has that retard strength
Bob: Well at least you admit he has strength.

As the ref's hand is coming down for three but Mentally Ill get's his arm up breaking up the count, the camera zooms in on Leftfoot's bloody face who's is in disbelief that Ill just kicked out. Leftfoot picks Ill's body up and begins punching him but Ill pushes Leftfoot off of him and into the ropes, as Leftfoot bounces of the ropes he goes to deliver a clothesline to Ill who also attempts a clothesline at the same time sending both men down to the mat. As Leftfoot and Ill's bodies lay motionless in the ring the ref begins the ten count.... 1......2......3.......As the ref's count gets to 6 both men start struggling to get up, the both crawl to the same rope and start using it to pull themselves up punching one another why doing so, 6… 7… Ill pushes Leftfoot off of him and both men land on the ropes and get the extra push to get back up before the ref get's to ten.
Bob: A Near count out for the both of them
Julian: And yet the match continues, I surprised.
Both Ill and Left foot are on their feet and locking up again struggling over who is going to get the advantage finally Ill does and kicks Leftfoot in the gut placing him in position and delivers a vertical suplex’s on him. Ill goes out of the ring and grabs a large chain and slides back into the ring and wraps it around the throat of Leftfoot as Leftfoot screams in the pain the ref, stands beside Leftfoot and ask Leftfoot if he would like to give, Leftfoot says no and keeps struggling, he eventually get's one knee on the ground planted and slowly begins to rise up with Ill on his back still chocking him with the chain, Leftfoot pushes full force and sends him and Ill into the corner crushing Ill between him and the ring post, Ill releases his grips on the chain and Leftfoot bust away from the corner to catch his breath back.
Julian: I think Mentally might have lost it.
Bob: Maybe this is the dark side of him.
Julian: Is that a Star Wars Reference, you such a nerd.
Ill runs to spear Leftfoot but he side steps sending Ill right into the corner causing his shoulder to wrap around the ring post, we watch Ill's face cringe in pain, while Ill is out cold Leftfoot walks over and picks up the steal chair from earlier and prepares to hit Ill with it, as Ill turns around Leftfoot swings the chair with everything in him and hits Ill right in the face sending his body crashing to the ground, Leftfoot drops the chair and walks over to Ill's motionless body but instead of going for the pin Leftfoot grabs both of Ill's leg's and locks in a Cloverleaf submission hold on Ill, as the camera pans around to Ill's face we see he is busted open now as well and blood is pouring from his head to.
Julian: And Now Ill is losing pretty much the rest of his brain cells
The ref is down in position asking Ill if he wants to give but Ill tells him, with every no Ill says Leftfoot leans back further and further adding more pressure to the back of Ill, but he keeps telling the ref no, eventually Leftfoot releases the hold and leaves Ill laying there in the ring. Leftfoot climbs to the outside and reaches under the ring and pulls out a table, he throws it in the ring and then reaches back under the ring and pulls out a bag, he finally slides back into the ring and begins setting the table up. After Leftfoot stands the table up he reaches down and picks up the bag showing it to the crowd he finally opens the bag and starts pouring the contents of it on the table. After the bag is empty he throws it down and walks over to Ill and picks up his motionless body and drags him over to the table, he places Ill between his legs and looks as though he is motioning for his signature move, he grabs Ill and begins to lift him up but Ill reverses and lands on his feet and hits a Strong Kick to Leftfoot sending him head first through the table and right onto all the thumbtacks. Leftfoot instantly starts flopping around the ring in a tremendous amount of pain holding his face.
Bob: They both have gone mad.
Julian: Wow. Could you sound anymore gay?
As Ill gets back up he looks at Leftfoot holding his face and just smiles, he walks over to Leftfoot, grabs him by his hair and starts singing to him. After his lullaby he slams Leftfoot’s head back down to the mat and climbs on top of Leftfoot and just starts throwing fists hitting Leftfoot in the back of the head, he finally flips Leftfoot over and sets up for a punt kick like he’s in some kind of foot ball game, as Leftfoot finally pushes himself up, Ill takes off running and kicks Leftfoot right in the skull, and goes for the pin.

No, another kick out by Leftfoot. The ref catches Leftfoot foot laying on the bottom rope, as Ill is celebrating in victory the ref stops him to let him know Leftfoot's foot was on the bottom rope and the match is still going, Ill looks at Leftfoot who is barely breathing now from the way it looks and climbs to the outside and pulls out a two by four, gasoline and matches from underneath the ring, he opens the jug and pours the gas over the two by four and then lights a match and sets it on fire. As Leftfoot finally pulls himself to a standing position Ill takes aim and swings catching Leftfoot right in the gut with the flaming object, causing Leftfoot to fall straight back to the ground, and Leftfoot rolls out of the ring, Ill follows in turn, by this time Leftfoot is trying to crawl underneath the ring but Ill grabs his legs with the hand that isn't holding the object and pulls Leftfoot back out only to be sprayed with a fire extinguisher in the eyes blinding him, Leftfoot pulls himself up and backs up from Ill he takes off running towards Ill hitting him with The Swag Dance causing Ill to go crashing to the ground.
Leftfoot walks back and sits on the steps that surround the ring holding his chest which is already covered in blisters from being hit with the flaming two by four, finally Leftfoot stands up and pulls a trash can out from under the ring and sets it up right on the stomach of Ill, he climbs back in the ring and takes of running for the rope the furthest away from Ill he bounces of the rope and on his way back grabs the other rope with both hands and does a Big Splash over it landing on the trash can and Ill. He takes off the trash can and he goes for the pin fall the referee goes for the count.

Leftfoot is the winner but apparently it isn’t over as he goes outside the ring and grabs a microphone and comes back into the ring. Talking into the microphone he decides to speak
Sir Luscious Leftfoot: Yo’ my mane man Ill, it ain’t over ya’ dig. I want you to meet my new girlfriend.
Just then Miss Peaches (Formerly Known as Rashanda) ran out with a KFC bucket comes out and runs into the ring and pulls out a drumstick and starts beating Ill viciously with it, screaming at him that it was over, that she has her new mane man now, and after beating him with a piece of chicken her and Leftfoot get out the ring and leave hand and hand, skipping up the ramp, well Leftfoot is skipping, we just see the woman formerly known as Rashanda doing a stomp like move that causes the stage to rattle each time her massive hoof like feet come down on it. They get to the top of the stage and they begin to make out feverishly for a moment before heading back stage.
Bob: Can you say gag…..
Julian: I’m just glad I will never have to lay eyes on Ill again…..
Winner by Pin fall: Sir Luscious Leftfoot (13:34)

Ding… Ding…
Bob: And this epic Triple Threat match is on. It’s the battle of the three originals, the battle of the three people who started it all, the grandfathers of SCW ladies and Gentlemen.
All three men begin a slow pace around the ring. Johnny Freeman is closing in on Punk, but he's keeping an eye on Shawn Michaels as well. Shawn Michaels just backed into the corner. He's motioning for Freeman to have his battle with CM Punk Shawn is going to watch as Punk and Freeman tie it up to begin this contest. Johnny with a knee to the stomach, but CM Punk is able to overcome it and shove him backwards. Johnny stumbles toward the center of the ring and quickly spins around; making sure that Michaels isn't on his way over. They square off, and after a few moments, go in for another grapple. There's a throat thrust to the neck of CM Punk, and Johnny sends him into the turnbuckle behind him with a few jabs. He dances around a bit, bobbing back and forth as Punk explodes from the corner. CM Punk just leveled Freeman with a huge clothesline. Shawn Michaels comes out of his corner as well and connects with a dropkick to the chest. Freeman down. Punk down. Both men go to stand at the same time, and Shawn is going to ambush them both. Brutal stomps to both rising superstars by the troubled Shawn Michaels. Punk gets to his feet first, but Shawn has already pulled Freeman up by the time he comes near. Suddenly Shawn just shoved Johnny Freeman right into CM Punk. He used him as an obstacle, and now Johnny's about to be hit with a belly-to-belly overhead.
Freeman comes crashing down with authority, and he yells out in pain, scooting across the mat. He finds a place in the turnbuckle, sitting down and watching as Punk approaches the now cornered Michaels. They'll lock it up in the corner, and that's not the place Shawn wants to find himself. There's a knee strike from Punk, and he goes to pull Michaels away from the turnbuckle. He fails and is thrown right back into the unforgiving steel post after a quick spin around. Johnny Freeman just ran across the ring and nailed CM Punk with a forearm smash to the back of the head. He's got Punk down now, and he will try to pummel him. CM Punk gets up to a knee, despite the beat down. Shawn is going to close in as Freeman connects with a swinging neck breaker. He gets up in a flash, but he’s met by a shot from Shawn Michaels. He's drives him back into the ropes now, blow after blow, each one sending Johnny stumbling. He's got Freeman by the wrist. Irish whip on its way. Johnny is sent across the ring, and Shawn takes a short bounce as well.
They meet in the middle of the ring, and Freeman throws for a clothesline, but it's ducked. Both men continue forward and make another bounce, coming back. This time it’s running clothes by Michaels. And it connects. CM Punk is getting up now. CM Punk sees the opportunity and grapples Michaels from behind as he stands. Russian leg sweep by the CM Punk. Shawn's head cracks off the mat hard. Johnny crawls over to the ropes, but he's not out of danger. Punk is coming for him, and the big man goes to lift him up. He's brings him out to the center of the ring with a fireman's carry, but CM Punk isn't finished. CM Punk manages to get the sleeper locked on Johnny Freeman in the center of the ring. Shawn Michaels springs to his feet and breaks the submission in a hurry. Shawn then goes to pound on CM Punk as he gets up now. He's moves around to the front of CM Punk now and...gives him a brutal kick right to the open chest. It ricochets off as CM Punk as he stands, but Shawn double shim over immediately with a boot to the midsection. Freeman looks on from the mat as Shawn hits the DDT.
He's got the headlock applied now. Michaels has CM Punk in the headlock now, and he's turned it into a choke hold. He's strangling the life out of Punk on the mat. Johnny Freeman is getting to his feet, but he's not breaking the hold. He's looming over both men, watching as CM Punk’s face turns from a normal, fleshy shade and progresses to red. Freeman is laughing now. He's enjoying this. CM Punk is struggling to try to break free; he delivers the stomp to the back of Shawn Michaels.
Bob: Can you just feel the epic feeling coming from these three Julian.
Julian: Surprisingly I can, I also get the feeling you keep looking at me, I’m not interested Bob.
Freeman jerks Michaels to his feet and never let’s go, locking him up from behind now. Delivering a German Suplex. Johnny rushes back to his feet and goes for the ropes ahead of him. He takes a bounce off and comes in hot on the downed Punk with a small leap and a knee to the head. His Knee drop lands on the mark and CM Punk get’s rocked by that one. He pulls his opponent up now. Michaels is slowly getting to his feet as well. Freeman quickly lifts CM Punk into his arms and follows that up with a quick backbreaker. It doesn’t seem like Johnny is done thought he lifts him back up and drives him all the way down to the mat for a backbreaker combo executed on CM Punk. And now Michaels is going to be ambushed as well. An assault of punches from Johnny Freeman, but Shawn Michaels doesn’t appear to be backing down. They’re trading blows now, Left and rights connect, and neither man is losing an inch but Johnny resorts to a kick to the stomach, and another kick, this time a Big Boot, that sends Shawn Michaels back into the corner. Johnny pulls him out a bit and gets him into position.
Freeman about to go for a turnbuckle Powerbomb here, but he's not going to get the chance. A shot from behind by CM Punk and now Cm Punk wraps his arms behind him and pulls him away from Shawn Michaels. Shawn regains his composure and comes forward, landing a hard chop right across the chest of Freeman. He connects with another and then a thunderous right hand. Shawn then suddenly grabs one side of Johnny Freeman as well, and they'll take him over to the center of the ropes for a two man Irish whip. Johnny is flung across the ring and comes back hard after a bounce off the opposite ropes. They're waiting for him, and they deliver a double flap jack. Johnny Freeman is gripping his face in pain now. Michaels and Punk will both rush to their feet, and now they're trading shots as well. They're alliance didn't last very long. There's a grapple from CM Punk. He gets Shawn into the position and Up and over for the northern lights suplex.
CM Punk rises to his feet to survey the two downed men around him. He's drops back and he then starts scouting the situation as Freeman uses the ropes to get up. He turns around slowly as CM Punk darts his way. A big boot on its way, but it Johnny Freeman dodges it. CM Punk gets hung up on the third rope, and he's now wide open for an attack by his vicious foe. Johnny Freeman then takes full advantage of the opening. A high leaping dropkick finds the mark and sends CM Punk over the rope. CM Punk is sent crashing to the floor outside. Michaels starting to muster some strength to get up now. Johnny looks on at Punk from above, trying to decide whether or not he wants to go out after him. He turns back just in time to catch Shawn rising from a knee. The two men go right in toward each other and tie it up. A short toe kick from Freeman. He's decides to run past Michaels and bounce off the ropes now and then he comes back in for a strong clothesline but Shawn spins around with a devastating spinning back fist which sent Johnny Freeman down hard. He tries to roll away, but Shawn has him. There's a hard stomp, and now Michaels is going for the turnbuckle nearby. Shawn wastes no time readying himself on the top rope....and he goes to leap what appears to be “The Rockstar” Splash but Freeman see’s it coming, and the overeager Shawn Michaels finds nothing but canvas. Johnny climbs to his feet and immediately lands a low dropkick to his downed opponent. And here comes CM Punk. He recovers and climbs back into the ring as Freeman boasts about his offensive on Michaels.
Bob: The dream match that fans have been waiting for is unfolding in front of my eyes.
Julian: I didn’t know you had dreams.
Bob: Well I do and there very much alive.
CM Punk rushes in for the blitz as Johnny turns to face him. And a huge shoulder block sends Freeman to the canvas hard. Johnny hits the mat and tries to get up in a hurry. However, Punk is right there, and he's got the grapple. And he goes for the lift and delivers a Samoan Drop. There's a hard shot to the midsection as he stands, and he doubles CM Punk over with another kick to the same area. Shawn Michaels delivers a strong clothesline that rocked the ring, and then he goes to hook the leg now as the referee runs to his aid for the count.

Michaels gets back to his feet. The two men size each other up for a moment, but here comes Johnny Freeman. He lands a double ax handle from behind. Punk goes down to a knee, and Michaels is going to strike. He runs in, jamming his boot the chin of CM Punk with the Sweet Chin Music, as he is leaping up and landing back down on his opponent, and Michaels has a pin again, but Johnny Freeman is just waiting and watching, and he breaks it before the referee can even get to the mat. It Knocks him off balance, however, and now CM Punk is about to unleash hell on Freeman. He lands a few hard chops to the chest before unloading with a series of angry punches. He's gritting his teeth in fury as he drives Johnny back into the corner. There's a kick to the stomach. Now Punk with a lean and a shoulder thrust into the midsection of his opponent. Michaels climbs back to a knee, But he simply watches and bides his time as CM Punk lands a few more thrusts to the stomach.
CM Punk lifts him up onto the third rope now. He's going for what might appear to be a big move. CM Punk going up after Johnny Freeman. He's get’s him on the top rope and puts him into a suplex position but Shawn Michaels is closing in and He's goes after the both of them and he Get’s them around the waist and delivers a powerful German suplex, while at the same time CM Punk delivers a Superplex to Johnny freeman. All three men down, but Michaels got the least of it. He hurries to his feet after only a few moments and then quickly goes right back for the turnbuckle. He goes up the turnbuckle, and he gets into position for a splash, and he flies of the top rope and delivers a Big Splash to CM Punk. Johnny Freeman is trying to struggle to get to his feet meanwhile Shawn Michaels is standing by waiting for him get up, as Johnny get’s up he slowly turns around and all of a suddenly he is surprised by the Sweet Chin Music from Shawn. Johnny Freeman goes down on the mat hard and Shaw goes for the cover. The Referee then comes in for the pin fall.

Thre… Kick out by Johnny Freeman.
Bob: Johnny Freeman Just refuses to quit. Amazing.
Julian: Looks like this battle will continue on.
Michael’s gets up to his knees and runs his hands through his hair as CM Punk rolls over to begin getting to his feet. Shawn sees the opportunity, and he's going to take it here. CM Punk gets to a knee now, and Michaels grabs him up by the hair and begins to run and He's charges for the ropes to toss him over but CM Punk holds on Michaels for dear life and they both end up going up over the third top rope and on to the floor outside. And they both come crashing down with a sickening thud. All three men down now. Johnny is the only one inside the ring. He has no idea that the war has spread to the outside of the ring. Michaels grabs hold of Punk, trying to use him as a crutch as CM uses the ring apron. Both men reach their feet around the same time, and they'll exchange a few punches. Michaels goes for a dropkick and he lands it, but it doesn’t do much as it simply sends CM Punk a few inches back into the ring apron. He waits there as Shawn climbs to his feet. He gets’ up to a knee and then that’s when CM Punk delivers a Big Boot to the face of Shawn Michaels and he goes down hard looking as if he might be unconscious. His body lies motionless in a heap on the floor as CM Punk Survey’s what he’s done. He'll quickly pull Shawn Michaels to his feet and begin carrying him toward the steel ring post. And he tosses him right into the steel ring steps and Michaels goes crashing into the steel hard with his spine, and CM Punk marches his way. It doesn’t look good for Michaels as he gets pulled off of the floor and immediately grappled. CM Punk get’s Michaels into a suplex position..... And he delivers a vertical suplex across the steps.
Bob: Holy Cow, did you see that, Shawn Michaels must have been broken in half.
Julian: Looks like he’s just doing his job and is eliminating his competion.
CM Punk heads back toward the scene where Shawn waits in agony. But suddenly y he gets hit by a spear through the ropes by Johnny Freeman. Johnny freeman appears to be getting back into the mix as he nails CM Punk with a spear to the floor, and Freeman starts to unload him with punches now. He continues beating him, pounding away at the skull of CM Punk; meanwhile Shawn Michaels is slowly trying to crawl away from the battle. He looks at the announcers table while he tries to get up, and recover from what CM Punk put him through earlier. He slowly rises to one knee, and just Johnny Freeman spots him and starts heading away from CM Punk and towards his new target, He grabs Shawn Michaels from behind and delivers a half nelson face buster right on the announcer table.
Bob: And now they’re using our announcer table as a weapon.
Julian: As long as it stays on your side I don’t care.
And another hard slam of the face into the table by Freeman. Michael’s slumps from the spot he lands, collapsing to the floor. Johnny Freeman doesn’t hesitate as he quickly picks up Shawn Michaels and rolls him back into the ring and follows him into it as well. He goes for the pin as he hooks the leg with the referee not far behind.

Thr… Kick out…
Bob: A close call for Shawn Michaels.
Julian: And yet he still kicked out, the match continues.
Suddenly, CM Punk grabs a hold of Johnny Freeman’s feet and he jerks him outside, and the two men lock up and Punk hits him with a knee, and he hits him with a second knee to the gut as Freeman starts to double over, but CM Punk grabs him a drags him over to the announcer table and he pick him up and scopes him for an Alabama slam right on to the announcer table but the announcers tables stays in tack.CM Punk drops back in satisfaction as he looks on at the motionless body of his opponent. He then heads back inside the ring as Shawn is back up to a knee now as CM Punk head back into the ring. Punk takes Michaels by the head, and he leads him back to his feet. And delivers a quick kick to the stomach. He looks to the crowd with a smirk as he looks to go for the Sweet Chin Music, but to their surprise Shawn Michaels hits him with a counter punch, and another counter punch, and then a back body drop. But instead of going for the pin he explodes towards the turnbuckle taking his attentions off the man he just reversed and looks down at the Johnny Freeman who is still on the table. He gets a gleam in his eye as he tries to go for the Rockstar Splash. He flies off the turnbuckle but suddenly Johnny rolls off onto the floor as his opponent comes sailing in with destructive force through the table.
Bob: Wow, he really went above and beyond, putting everything on the line.
Jillian: But that death defying leap will spell defeat for Michaels.
Bob: Well I guess it’s too bad for your side of the table now Julian
Jillian: I wouldn’t talk Bob; this was your table to.
Johnny rises to a knee and looks up at CM Punk as he stands as well. The two men lock eyes for a moment before CM Punk motions for him to get back inside. Johnny slides back into the ring meanwhile CM Punk watches him enter the ring and allows him to, It's down to one-on-one to one to one now as they tie-up near the center of the ring, and Johnny is starts fighting with all he's got left. He throws shots around the arms of Punk, who attempts to drive Johnny backwards and into the corner, but it’s to no avail as Johnny with hit him with a few driving knees, and tries to deliver a power slam, but CM Punkshifts out of it, and they keep the grapple on, and CM Punk finds a way to shove Freeman back. CM Punk hits him with a kick to the stomache, and he tries to go for a Sidewalk Slam, but Johnny Freeman Reverses it and then kicks CM Punk into the stomache and goes for a Power Slam again, but this time he is successful as he brings CM Punk down hard onto the mat. Johnny Freeman looks to the turnbuckle as he rushes towards it and climbs the turnbuckle, taking no time at all to get to the top as he turns around and faces his downed opponent, he takes on last look at the crowd and then he turns around and looks at CM Punk, he launches off the turnbuckle and delivers the Rockstar Splash and connects with CM Punk, he hooks the leg and goes for the pin.

Winner by pinfall: Johnny Freeman (30:41)
Bob: These three men were the pinnacle of SCW during its infancy, and now they just put on one final show for the fans who adore them. When all was said and done, it was The Rockstar who proved supreme on this night—where these men all end up now is anybody’s guess.
Julian: Yeah, yeah, yeah, enough about them though, now we’re getting to the match that I’ve been waiting to see.
Kenneth Walker vs. Austin Starr
Last Man Standing (No Rules)
Last Man Standing (No Rules)
“I Believe” comes on over the arena speakers first and the fans begin to stand and applaud as they see Kenneth Walker walk slowly out onto the stage. We can immediately tell by the look on Ken’s face that he is fully aware and ready for this challenge that lies before him. Ken closes his eyes and turns his head from left to right before opening them and slowly beginning the walk down the ramp and stopping at the stairs. With the admiration and love from the crowd cheering him on, Ken walks up the ramp and puts a hand on the top rope before looking around the arena again. Getting a glimmer in his eye, almost tear like, Ken crouches down and goes inside the ring and stands in the center. As Ken’s music stops playing, he simply stares at the entrance way and waits. The wait doesn’t end up being long though as “Superstar” by Lupe Fiasco comes on over the arena loudspeakers and the cheers turn quickly to hateful boos as we see Austin Starr slowly walk out onto the stage. But wait a second, this time we aren’t seeing the usual cocky swagger or flashy bravado we usually see from him, this time Austin can be seen with a stone, solemn face as he never takes his eyes off of Ken while beginning to walk down to the ring. Even midway down the ramp when an angry fan throws his cup of beer right at Austin’s head, it doesn’t phase him, he simply stops for a moment and wipes his eyes as arena security drag the guy away. The tension that can be felt as Austin and Ken continue to stare through each other is obvious as Austin gets down to the ring and slides inside. He stands up and comes nose to nose with Kenneth in the center of the ring as the referee quickly inserts himself between the two of them.
Bob: I can’t wait to see what these two men are going to do to each other Julian. There issue is one that is deeply personal and goes far beyond anything we’ve ever seen before.
Julian: There gonna kill each other…it’s gonna be great.
As the official starts to ask Ken and Austin if they understand the rules, Ken simply ignores him and asks the ringside guy to give him a microphone. He does quickly and Ken looks at Austin again for a moment before beginning to speak.
Ken: Old friend, I truly wish that it didn’t have to come to this—but I know how stubbourn that you can be….and if this is what needs to be done; then so be it. But I want you to know something Austin, I plan to come at you with every ounce of fight and strength that I can muster; just like I know you plan to do the same. That is why you and me are going to fight, fight until one of us is the last…man…standing. (turns to the referee) You don’t stop this match, no matter what, under no circumstances—until one of us is unable to answer the ten count…do you understand me? No matter what.
Bob: A last man standing match, are you serious?
Julian: Were you surprised, did you honestly think that the hate that these two men share could be contained under regular match rules?
The crowd is now cheering at Ken’s match change announcement, he lets them for a moment before lifting the microphone to his mouth one more time.
Ken: So it’s spoken, so shall it be—may the better man win……brother.
Ken drops the mic and it makes a static hiss as it shuts off, he then nods to the official who proceeds to wave for the bell to be rung. Ken then walks back to the center of the ring and comes face to face with Austin once again who is still stone faced and staring back at Ken. The fans in the arena eagerly await to see who is going to initiate contact first. We can see Ken mouth something to Austin who still says nothing, and still doesn’t break his stare. This seems to anger Ken who then slaps Austin hard across the face, Ken starts to yell something at Austin, but we are unable to catch it as the slap seemed to bring Austin to alertness as he rushes at Ken and takes him down and starts to unload on him with left and right hands. Ken reverses quickly thogugh however and rolls over on top of Austin and starts to drop hard lefts and rights on him, this time it’s Austin’s turn to reverse as he rolls Ken over and hits him with some more hard shots before standing up and allowing Ken to do the same. Once both men are on their feet again they come into the center of the ring and stare at each other again. This time it is Austin who slaps Ken hard, who responds quickly back by firing back a right hand. Austin comes back with a left and they go shot for shot for a few moments before Ken kicks Austin in the stomach and tosses him into a nearby corner. Ken then follows up by hitting Austin with a knife edge chop, the arena lets out a loud WHOO, as Ken chops Austin again, and then a third; and finally a fourth time before Austin explodes out of the corner, grabs Ken and starts to kick and chop away at him now in the corner.
Bob: So far these two are dead even Julian, but then again, given how well they know each other, did you really expect anything different.
Julian: If I wanted to watch back and fourth technical wrestling, I’d go watch one of those other guys. I wanted to see a fight, a brawl…this sucks so far.
Austin then takes Ken out of the corner and tosses him towards the far ropes, as Ken comes back Austin ducks down and behind him and wraps his hands around Ken’s midsection. Austin tries to lift Ken up and over, but Ken blocks it with his legs, Austin then punches Ken in the back of the head a couple times before trying again, and this time being successful. Completing the takedown, Austin applies a front face lock on Ken, then using his amateur wrestling background; Austin now goes around for Ken’s back and tries to go for Ken’s legs. Having spent some time wrestling amateur wrestling himself, Ken is able to instinctively move to his hands and knees (referees position). However, Austin responds and adapts quickly, by breaking down one of Ken’s arms and hooking it along with a leg to trap Ken in a cradle pinning situation. Remembering however that there are no pinfalls in this type of match however Austin then proceeds to stand up, cursing himself for making the mistake, and waits for Ken to do the same. Once Ken is on his feet, Austin tries to charge him, but Ken is able to surprise him with a kick to the stomach. Ken then hooks Austin’s arm over his head and hits him with a vertical suplex. Keeping the arm hooked, Ken gyrates his hips and rolls over to his feet once more and hits Austin with a second vertical suplex. Doing it once more, Ken gets back to his feet and tries to hit a third, having to use a little muscle the third time, Ken lifts Austin up and over head with another vertical suplex and immediately floats over and hooks the leg and instinctively calls for the referee to make the count. Now it’s Ken’s turn to remember that there are no pinfalls in this match as he instead decides to stand up and crack his knuckles before he sulks around Austin, waiting for him to get up so he can inflict further damage.
Bob: This match can still go either way.
Julian: Yeah, make you go to sleep. God what’s the point of making a last man standing rules contest if you’re gonna stay inside the ring and just wrestle the entire time.
Austin then gets up a little slower, holding his back from the suplexes, using the ropes to assist him. He isn’t able to recover long however, because as he turns around, Ken charges at him and hits him with a clothesline and knocks him over the top rope and to the outside floor. Kens own momentum carried him out to the floor as well, and he follows up the assault by tossing Austin back first into the outside barrier. After bouncing off the padded wall, Ken kicks Austin square in the jaw and as Austin falls to the mat on the floor outside. Ken then calls for the referee who is still in the ring to begin the count, which he does—1…2…Austin rolls over onto his stomach…3…4…we see him get to his hands and knees…5…6…Austin gets nearly to his feet but Ken is back on him again, dropping repeated double ax handle blows on Austin’s back before tossing him hard into the ringside steps. Austin is now still on the mat once again as Ken looks at the official to begin making the count—1…2…3…not wanting to even wait this time, Ken pulls Austin up to his feet and proceeds to toss him back inside of the ring.
Bob: Julian, I’m not used to seeing this kind of aggression being displayed from Ken.
Julian: He said he was going to knock some sense into Austin, and so far it looks like he meant every word of it.
Getting back into the ring himself, Ken starts to stomp at a still fallen Austin, screaming at him the entire time on how it didn’t have to come to this, that they could have settled their differences another way. Ken then reaches down and goes to pull Austin to his feet, but Austin pushes up and sidesteps before catching Ken square on the jaw with the Rising Starr kick. The stiff connecting sound reverberates throughout the arena as Austin drops to a knee to try and recover as Ken lies still on the mat. The official now begins to administer the count for both men now—1…2…3…Austin uses the ropes to slowly pull himself back to his feet…4…Ken begins to stir…5…Austin is now back on his feet as he grabs the legs of a still fallen Ken and wraps them up, before turning over and cinching in a sharpshooter submission hold. Austin sits down as far as he can to apply as much pressure as possible to Ken who is instantly brought back to full alertness and begins to scream in agony. The referee goes over and almost asks Ken if he wants to quit, but then remembers that it won’t do any good so he just simply watches as Ken tries to crawl for the ropes but Austin only pulls him back to the center of the ring and cinches the hold in further. The expression of pain and anguish on Ken’s face is quite more then apparent, but he refuses to give up the fight as he rests his head on the mat and makes fists out of his hands. In an impressive showing of strength, Ken then pushes himself up on his fists and uses whatever strength that he may have remaining in his legs to heave Austin away and into a nearby corner pole. It doesn’t phase him for long though, because as Ken was trying to pull himself back to his feet, Austin chop blocks him in the back of his leg and continues the assault.
Bob: I think I see what is going on here Julian, earlier on in the match Ken was attacking Austin’s back so he would be unable to go to the top rope and hit the Shooting Starr. But now, turn about is eventually fair play as we now see Austin working on the legs of Ken so he won’t have the steady enough base needed to hit the Payoff…or the Money Maker for that matter.
Julian: I’m gonna crawl under the desk and go to sleep, wake me when this is over…talk about a major league let down here.
Austin now has the right leg of Ken lifted up, and he kicks hard in the calf area, not once, not twice, but three times before dropping down and turning it into a heel hook. Again, we can now see pain come across Ken’s face, but this time he is able to take his other leg, and kick Austin off and away before pushing himself away and to the corner to try and get himself back to his feet. Getting kicked square in the face dazes Austin for a moment, who has to break and shake the “cobwebs” loose before turning his attention back to Ken and coming at him once more. But much to the surprise of Austin, and those watching in the arena at home, Ken jumps up, sore leg and all and catches Austin with a picture perfect dropkick. Austin falls to the ground, as does Ken, holding his leg and trying to massage some of the tension out of it. After a few moments, it looks as if Ken is able to stand back on his own, as does Austin, who tries to charge at him, but Ken is able to move slightly, cradle Austin up, and bring him down hard across his knee with a backbreaker. The impact causes Austin to roll to the outside of the ring holding his back once more, not wasting any time now Ken rolls out as well and proceeds to bang Austin’s head off of the ringside announcer table before tossing him over the ringside wall and into the crowd. It looks like these two men are finally going to be taking advantage of the basically no rules stipulation as Ken climbs over the barrier as well and the fans part like the red sea as Ken kicks and punches at Austin, slowly backing him away from venue seats and down into a equipment area. Austin then tries to turn and hit Ken with a kick, but Ken is able to hook the kick attempt, grab Austin by the head and hit him with a T-bone overhead throw which sends Austin into a large stack of wires and cords on the ground. Ken looks around for the referee who is still trying to make his way through the crowd. Once he finally pushes his way out, Ken motions to a fallen Austin and the referee begins to administer the ten count—1…2…3…we now see Austin pulling himself away from the cords…4…knowing that what he did wasn’t going to be enough, Ken doesn’t wait for the count to go any further as he pulls Austin to his feet and tosses him into a pair of double doors which open. Now it looks like this battle will continue in the bowels of the arena as the camera man follows so the fight can be shown on the jumbo screens.
